Epigraph to the exhibition Looks Like I'm Entering Our Garden is the author’s copy of Yehor Antsyhin’s work “The Fact That You Have Lived There For All Your Life Doesn’t Mean Anything”, 2015. The original had been created for a mobile anti-military exhibition “... against the war Russian Federation is heading inside and outside the country”. The project involved a lot of artists from Ukraine, Russia, Finland, Germany and Austria, and the exhibition itself was planned to be held in the urban spaces of Saint-Petersburg, Riga and Moscow. In the capital of Russian Federation, near the Winzavod Contemporary Art Center, the participants have been detained. “... the exhibition moved to a paddy wagon and internal affairs department Basmannoe, where the works have been seized”, - the organizers are writing. For today, the original work of Yegor Antsyhin is considered lost.

The work portrays the occupier’s phrase — “The Fact That You Have Lived There For All Your Life Doesn’t Mean Anything” written on top of the landscape, that seemingly obscures and denies the space with the inhabitants who consider it to be their own. For Antsyhin the work is totally anti-military. It was created as a thing to take on an anti-war protest march. However, in the context of the exhibition Looks Like I'm Entering Our Garden it acquires additional sences — a wider statement about nature and politics, protected and dangerous areas, general insecurity and meeting those who enter the garden with bad intentions.

Оригінальна робота була створена для пересувної антивоєнної виставки “...проти війни, яку Російська федерація веде як всередині країни, так і за її межами”. У проекті брали участь художники з України, Росії, Фінляндії, Німеччини і Австрії, а сама виставка заплановано відбулася в міському просторі Санкт-Петербургу, Риги та Москви.
